Spotlights juvenile arthritis

More than 1,000 people are expected to participate in Saturday's Juvenile Arthritis March at the Mall of America.

The ninth-annual event starts at 7:30 Saturday morning with an activities fair near Macy's. The walk starts there at 8:30.

The march, sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, is designed to raise awareness that arthritis is an affliction that can also strike children.

Arthritis affects nearly 300,000 children nationwide, with more than 6,000 of them in Minnesota, the foundation says
